Transmedia is a technique of storytelling that runs across multiple forms of media (at least three forms of media), usually with a degree of audience participation, interaction, or collaboration. Each media piece serves as a standalone story experience, while also contributing to a larger narrative. This process is cumulative and adds enrichment to the pattern of modern media consumption in this digital age.
